Four enduring myths about Juneteenth are not based on facts

Juneteenth is a holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. It is also called Emancipation Day or Juneteenth Independence Day. The name “Juneteenth” references the date of the holiday, combining the words “June” and “nineteenth.”

The Juneteenth holiday commemorates the end of slavery in Texas. Today, Juneteenth has been celebrated into a major national holiday that honours freedom and equality. With this in mind, we wanted to create a strain that would celebrate this day by honouring our ancestors.

Our story begins back in 2011 when we first began exploring the world of terpenes and cannabinoids. We were intrigued by how they could each affect us individually. When we took these compounds together, something amazing happened. Our bodies produced a euphoric feeling that was unlike anything we had experienced before.

We started talking about what would happen if we used these same cannabinoids to make a strain of medicine. We knew that many people were using CBD and THC to treat their ailments and we wanted to create a product that would help them feel better. After a few years of experimentation, we decided to join forces with our friends at TGA Labs and created a combination of medical-grade cannabidiol (CBD) and THC that would work synergistically to produce a medicinal-quality oil. We named our line “Mango Kush” after the mango leaves we use throughout our extraction process.

Fast forward to 2017, we have grown tremendously since launching Mango Kush. We wanted to share our knowledge with others who are interested in learning more about cannabis cultivation. Therefore, we launched Top5Nutrients. This series showcases the top 5 nutrients needed to grow a more sustainable cannabis crop. From now until June 19th, we want to hear from you!
